General Terms and Conditions

For utilizing the services offered on the website www.internet-language-school.com (henceforth termed ILS services), you, as user, are concluding a user contract with ‘DeutschAkademie’ Sprachschule GmbH, Opernring 1, 1010 Vienna (henceforth termed ‘DeutschAkademie’), as the provider, under which the following general terms and conditions are applicable.

You undertake to specify your complete and correct data when you register and to update them regularly, if required, when using the ILS services.

You will keep your access data and passwords confidential.

You undertake to take the precautions necessary to secure your system, such as security settings and virus protection.

The offer of a trial hour is a voluntary service on the part of the DeutschAkademie. There is no entitlement to a trial hour. A date for a trial hour can only be arranged with mutual consent.

The DeutschAkademie assumes no liability for you obtaining the learning success you seek.

If you cannot keep to an hour arranged upon, the same will be considered as taken.

Individual hours can be cancelled 24 hours prior to the beginning of the course before 12:00h (UTC + 1 or +2 during summer time). If cancellation occurs later, the hours will be considered taken and charged.

Courses with an inadequate number of participants can be cancelled by the DeutschAkademie at short notice.

Courses can be cancelled by the DeutschAkademie at short notice. This applies particularly, if a teacher is not available.

Courses that do not take place due to a malfunction on your part will be considered as taken. If ILS is responsible for the malfunction, the course will be repeated at a later date.

Additional conditions and modalities to the different ILS services will be described on the website.

In the case of litigation only Austrian law is applicable.

Venue and court of jurisdiction for all services and any disputes is Vienna.

Should individual provisions of this agreement be or become invalid, the totality of the agreement will not be affected.
